You will have two options… Friday evening or Saturday morning
Friday, October 9th from 5:30-6:30 At Ace Adventure Gear. AAG is right in Fayetteville. 239 N Court St, 25840
Saturday, October 10th at Babcock and the Finish area from 8:00am-9:15am.
Directions to the Babcock Registration/Packet pick up and Finish area- Enter Babcock State Park at the Main Entrance. Take an immediate right to Mann’s Creek Picnic Area. Follow it all the way to the end, stay straight. This will be the Finish for the race!! There is a huge parking lot past the finish line and packet pickup so keep going straight. Packet pick up will begin at 8:00am.
Pre-race meeting will be at 9:30.
Racer Shuttle to Start is at 9:40. Our start will be at the entrance to Camp Washington Carver, a historical landmark. Once we are dropped off there you will have about 25 minutes to warm up. The buses will NOT return to Babcock, so anyone wishing to watch the start will need to drive separately. We will have a large Tupperware container at the start in case you want to shed a jacket, it will be back at the finish waiting for you.
Aid Stations – We will have two aid Stations on the course, the first will be at Mile 2.5 and the beginning of the Narrow Gauge Trail. The second will be at Mile 6.5 and the Gristmill. Aid Stations will have water and some electrolyte drink mix. We have excellent cellular communication at aid stations and all through the park.
The Finish Line! will be at the end of the Skyline Trial – which is the location of Aid Station 2 in the Gristmill Grinder Course. This picnic area is great with a beautiful overlook, tennis court, volleyball net, playground and bathhouse. If the weather is nice you may want to stick around and hang out!!
